New Vehicle Extended Warranty

  • You can extend the Factory Warranty beyond 3 years/100,000km by purchasing a Hyundai New Vehicle Extended Warranty.
  • Available to New Zealand new Hyundai vehicle customers whose vehicle is under 6 months old and has travelled less than 10,000km from the date of first registration.
  • This warranty comes into effect when your factory warranty expires, but it must be purchased within the first 6 months of the vehicle’s life, and when the vehicle has driven less than 10,000km.
  • Choose from a 12, 24, or 36 month Extended Warranty for passenger vehicles and 12 and 24 month Extended Warranty for commercial vehicles.
  • The passenger vehicle Extended Warranty expires at the end of the contract term or at 150,000km, whichever comes first.
  • The commercial vehicle Extended Warranty expires at the end of the contract term or at 250,000km, whichever comes first.
  • Includes 24 hour Hyundai Roadside Assistance throughout the life of the warranty.

New Vehicle Extended Warranty details

The New Vehicle Extended Warranty starts as soon as your Factory Warranty ends and includes the following:

  • The Hyundai New Vehicle Extended Warranty provides warranty support consistent with the original manufacturers’ warranty. It covers any part that is manufactured or supplied by Hyundai or any Authorised Hyundai Dealership, Authorised Hyundai Parts and Service Agent or Authorised Hyundai Service Agent if found to be faulty in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance conditions.
  • Passenger vehicle contracts feature no excess if all servicing and repairs are carried out by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent in accordance with the Recommended Service Schedule. A $500 excess applies if not serviced by an authorised Hyundai Service Agent.
  • Commercial vehicle contracts feature a $500 excess on all claims if all servicing and repairs are carried out by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent. A $1,000 excess applies if not serviced by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.
  • There is no limit on the number of claims you can make.
  • There is no limit to the cost of repairs.
  • Your warranty is transferrable with the vehicle, not the owner.
